Jack Grundfest
President and CEO, Alter Trading Corporation
Jack Grundfest joined Alter Trading Corp. in August 2018 through the acquisition of TRG (Tenenbaum Recycling Group), where he had been president and chief executive officer for more than 13 years.
At Alter, Jack first served as senior vice president and chief administrative officer. Effective June 1, 2021, he became president, and in April of this year, he took on the dual role of president and CEO.
Jack has been involved in many industry efforts, including metal theft legislation and environmental issues.
Prior to joining TRG, Jack was managing director and CEO of the Mitchell, Williams Law Firm in Little Rock, Arkansas.
He has more than 35 years of experience in management, business transactions and M & A and tax law. Jack earned his B.A. from the University of Arkansas, his J.D. from the Bowen School of Law at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, and his LL.M. in taxation at the University of Denver School of Law.
Jack has been an active member of the business, charitable and civic communities in Arkansas, having served on the boards of many for-profit and nonprofit entities.
Jack and his wife, Kathy, live in Little Rock, Arkansas. They have two adult daughters that reside in Colorado.
