Rick Dobkin is chief commercial officer (CCO) at Shapiro Metals. He has had several roles in his 35-year tenure with the company, starting in operations in the St Louis plant and transitioning through to his current role as CCO. Most recently, Rick also has taken on the role of president of Shapiro’s Master Alloys division, where the company has seen significant growth. He has been active in leadership in the Bureau of International Recycling (BIR), where he has served on several committees and boards as the U.S. representative for the group.

Rick is married, has two grown daughters and is an avid music fan. He also is involved with a St Louis agency, Ready Readers, that promotes reading skills for lower-income residents.
